| Description | Contractor shall provide labor and materials for removal of existing windows and shades, and their replacement with new aluminum framed windows and roller shades for two buildings: GYMNASIUM BLDG A and ACADEMIC BLDG B - approximately 300 openings. Additive Alternates for window installation at Buildings C and D should be separated from base bid amount on bid form. Work also includes miscellaneous work involving sheet metal, rough and finish carpentry, sealants, painting, and hazardous material abatement. Storage of windows delivered prior to installation shall be included in base bid. This job is to be completed during Summer 2018. PLEASE NOTE: This Project is limited to window and shade demolition and installation ONLY. Items in issued bid documents that refer to structural retrofit or accessibility upgrades should NOT be included in base bid. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $1,750,000 |
