The objective of the Project is to modify the channel downstream of Lower Crystal Springs Dam to facilitate fish passage during the Summer low flow months, to modify valves near the toe of the dam, and other related work. The Work is to be performed in San Mateo, CA.

Engineer's Estimate: $4,110,000

Thompson Builders Corporation, an Equal Opportunity Employer, as a "General Contractor" is requesting bids from ALL and LBE Subcontractors, Suppliers and Truckers for the project known as: LOWER CRYSTAL SPRINGS DAM STILLING BASIN CONNECTING CHANNEL - REBID (Contract #WD-2822R) located in San Mateo, CA. Bids are due no later than February 1, 2018, at 2 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: THOMPSON BUILDERS CORP IS REQUESTING BIDS BY END OF DAY PRIOR TO JAN 31, 2018.

Thompson Builders Corporation is signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement. Certification of insurance for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation are required. A Waiver of Subrogation will also be required with all Subcontract Agreements. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price may be required. Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.

TBC is willing to discuss breaking down bid items into economically feasible units for minority participation. Their estimating department is available for assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies and/or materials.
