The proposed work consists, in general, of demolition of the existing 6,910 square feet recreation center and construction of a new two story 22,221 square feet recreation center and park improvements located at 250 10th Street, Oakland, CA 94607. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of the existing structure and blacktop area to construct the new recreation center which will feature four multi-purpose classrooms/activity spaces, kitchen, office spaces, gymnasium, stage area, elevator, restrooms, and rooftop garden on the 2nd floor. The City has paid for Planning and Building Department permit fees. The Contractor is responsible to apply for and pay all other trade permits, including the City’s Waste Reduction & Recycling Plan for the Building Permit.

WICKMAN DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION, as a General Contractor, is seeking bids for all trades from Subcontractors and Suppliers for the Project advertised as: LINCOLN RECREATION CENTER, located at 250 10th Street, Oakland, CA 94607. General Contractor bids are due on June 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: Subcontractor/Supplier bids are due to Wickman Development & Construction NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM ON THURSDAY, JUNE 26, 2025, to allow ample time for review.

Participation Goals: It is the intent of Wickman Development and Construction to reach out to DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms and suppliers and provide them with an equal opportunity to bid this project in accordance with the goals established and then to fairly review and choose to include complete and timely submitted bids in our bid to the Owner based on cost.

Union Affiliations: Wickman Development and Construction is signatory to the Carpenter’s and Laborer’s Unions of Northern California Master Agreement. All sub-contractors who intend to bid scopes of work to Wickman Development and Construction that fall under the Master Agreement of these unions must also be signatory to these unions or we cannot list them for that portion of work.
