The Project consists of: The Evans Center Modernization and Voluntary Seismic Upgrade, located at 1400 Evans Ave, San Francisco CA, 94124, includes structural seismic upgrades, a new roof, new windows, replacement of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning system, and renovation/reconfiguration of 89,000 sq ft of interior spaces. The project also includes site lighting, fencing, site restoration/improvements and an automotive spray-booth project under a separate DSA application.

Estimated Construction Value: $27,000,000

WICKMAN DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION, as a Prime Contractor, is seeking bids for all trades from sub-contractors and suppliers, including bids from certified/qualified DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms, for the Project advertised as: EVANS CENTER MODERNIZATION & VOLUNTARY SEISMIC UPGRADE - CCSF (IFB #2026-079), located at 1400 Evans Ave, San Francisco, CA 94124. Contractor bids are due to Owner on April 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: sub-contractor/supplier bids are due to Wickman Development & Construction NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM ON MONDAY, APRIL 13, 2026, to allow ample time for review.

Participation Goals: It is the intent of Wickman Development and Construction to reach out to DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms and suppliers and provide them with an equal opportunity to bid this project in accordance with the goals established and then to fairly review and choose to include complete and timely submitted bids in our bid to the Owner based on cost.

This Project includes a 25% SBE participation goal. Wickman Development & Construction encourages participation from SBE certified firms.

Union Affiliations: Wickman Development and Construction is signatory to the Carpenter’s and Laborer’s Unions of Northern California Master Agreement. All sub-contractors who intend to bid scopes of work to Wickman Development and Construction that fall under the Master Agreement of these unions must also be signatory to these unions or we cannot list them for that portion of work.
