The Project is generally described as: The modernization of two buildings at Thurgood Marshall Academic High School. The Work includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of flooring systems, ceiling systems, fixed and operable sports equipment and telescoping bleachers, renovation of toilet rooms and locker rooms, replacement of mechanical, electrical, lighting, power, data and low voltage systems including audio-visual systems, fire protection systems, replacement of existing counter-weight rigging system at the auditorium stage, demolition of existing and installation of new partitions, doors, windows, and storefront systems, roofing systems including joint covers, casework, instrument cabinets, and various finishes and painting, both interior and exterior. Abatement of all hazardous materials in the area of work (see specifications) shall be performed under this contract.

Estimated Construction Value: $18,865,000

WICKMAN DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION, as a Prime Contractor, is seeking bids for all trades from sub-contractors and suppliers, including bids from certified/qualified DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms, for the Project advertised as: THURGOOD MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL - GYM AND AUDITORIUM PROJECT (SFUSD Project #12380) , located at 45 Conkling St., San Francisco, CA 94124. General Contractor bids are due to Owner on April 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: sub-contractor/supplier bids are due to Wickman Development & Construction NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM ON MONDAY, APRIL 27, 2026, to allow ample time for review.

Participation Goals: It is the intent of Wickman Development and Construction to reach out to DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms and suppliers and provide them with an equal opportunity to bid this project in accordance with the goals established and then to fairly review and choose to include complete and timely submitted bids in our bid to the Owner based on cost.

Union Affiliations: Wickman Development and Construction is signatory to the Carpenter’s and Laborer’s Unions of Northern California Master Agreement. All sub-contractors who intend to bid scopes of work to Wickman Development and Construction that fall under the Master Agreement of these unions must also be signatory to these unions or we cannot list them for that portion of work.
