The Project consists of all labor, materials equipment and services necessary to remove and patch back finishes at the specified destructive testing locations, and provide access for the design team to review conditions, as described in the scope of work (Appendix A).

General Requirements by General Contractor (GC):
01. Removal, patching, fill and clean-up of potholes, walls, ceilings and floor finishes as noted.
02. Patch Concrete Core Test Areas - Patch cores with concrete patch mix (min f’c = 5000 psi)
03. Reinforcing Steel Test Areas - Scanning shall be performed by GC. No replacement or repair required.
04. Footing Pothole Areas: Infill pothole locations with suitable fill material to 95% compaction. Replace Slab on Grade in kind (see detail provided).

Structural General Testing Core Sampling Requirements for Areas 2 to 10 by District Special Inspector:
Testing is required per ASCE-41 section 10.2.2.4.1 to verify the material properties of the existing structure.
Removal of Cores and Testing shall be performed by an accredited testing agency and follow procedures in ASTM C42, C39, and C496 for the core samples and ASTM A370 for the reinforcing steel.

WICKMAN DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION, as a Prime Contractor, is seeking bids for all trades from sub-contractors and suppliers, including bids from certified/qualified DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms, for the Project advertised as: ER TAYLOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (SFUSD Project #12506) , located at 423 Burrows St., San Francisco, CA 94134. General Contractor bids are due to Owner on June 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: sub-contractor/supplier bids are due to Wickman Development & Construction NO LATER THAN 9:00 AM ON MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2026, to allow ample time for review.

Participation Goals: It is the intent of Wickman Development and Construction to reach out to DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms and suppliers and provide them with an equal opportunity to bid this project in accordance with the goals established and then to fairly review and choose to include complete and timely submitted bids in our bid to the Owner based on cost.

Union Affiliations: Wickman Development and Construction is signatory to the Carpenter’s and Laborer’s Unions of Northern California Master Agreement. All sub-contractors who intend to bid scopes of work to Wickman Development and Construction that fall under the Master Agreement of these unions must also be signatory to these unions or we cannot list them for that portion of work.
