The Project is generally described as, but not limited to: Replacement of one (1) Existing Elevator and all associated electrical, mechanical and miscellaneous related work to complete the installation; testing and commissioning of the new elevator to complete the project.

There is NO Hazardous Materials Abatement Work in the project.

W.E. LYONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, as a Prime Contractor, is requesting quotes from all qualified sub-contractors and suppliers, including certified/qualified DVBE sub-contractors, for the Project advertised as: GALILEO ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLK STREET ELEVATOR REPLACEMENT (SFUSD Project #12589), located at 1150 Francisco St., San Francisco, CA 94109, for the following items of work, including, but not limited to: elevators, electrical, doors/frames/hardware, toilet partitions and accessories, emergency lifts, plumbing, HVAC, security and fire alarm.

PLEASE NOTE: W.E. Lyons Construction Company requests sub bids BEFORE 2:00 PM ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2026, to allow ample time for review.
