This Project is part of Peralta Community College’s goal to upgrade its facilities to foster a better environment for its students by addressing existing damage and safety concerns at the Merritt College: ADA and Site Improvements. The buildings will remain closed during construction. The various renovations shall include replacement of existing flooring, ceiling tiles, drinking fountains, door hardware, lighting, exit signage, restroom plumbing fixtures, restroom tiles, restroom stalls, new paint as well as site
improvements throughout the campus.

Estimated Construction Cost: $1,000,000

W.E. LYONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, as a Prime Contractor, is requesting quotes from all qualified sub-contractors and suppliers, including quotes from certified/qualified DVBE firms, for the Project advertised as: MERRITT COLLEGE ADA AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS (Bid No. 25-26/04), located at 12500 Campus Dr, Oakland, CA 94619, for the following items of work, including, but not limited to: selective demolition, decorative formed metals, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, sheathing, finish carpentry, wood casework and door frames, thermal insulation, firestopping, joint sealants, hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum windows, door hardware, glass glazing, mirrors, moisture vapor emission control, painting, non-structural metal framing, drywall, ceramic tiling, acoustical panel ceilings, wall coverings, insulation, coatings, signage, bathroom accessories, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm system, earthwork.
