This Project is a renovation of an existing training facility for bus operators and mechanics for conversion to a zero emission bus fleet. The renovation will add 1,164 sq. ft. of second floor area within the existing building envelope and a new 1,350 sq. ft. addition outside of it. The bus bays will be upgraded to hydrogen-safe bays to allow for servicing of fuel cell buses and include a new mezzanine level connecting to the expanded second floor. The Project will also add canopy coverage and replace paving at the main entrance, and reconfigure lobby, office, classroom and other interior spaces.

W.E. LYONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, as a Prime Contractor, is requesting quotes from all qualified sub-contractors and suppliers, including quotes from certified/qualified SBE sub-contractors, for the Project advertised as: TEC MODERNIZATION & ADDITION (Project #2026-1683), located at 20234 Mack St., Hayward, CA 94545, for the following items of work, including, but not limited to: survey, demolition, structural concrete, structural steel, metal decking, misc. metals, rough carpentry, waterproofing, insulation, air barriers, metal wall panels, TPO roofing, sheet metal, roof accessories, firestopping, joint sealants, expansion joint cover assemblies, doors/frames/hardware, overhead coiling doors, folding doors, storefronts, glazing, louvers, metal stud and drywall, tiling, acoustical ceilings, cork flooring, resilient tile flooring, tile carpeting, sound absorbing wall & ceiling, painting, signage, toilet compartments & accessories, movable panel system, fire extinguishers, storage racks, structural canopy system, bus roof working platform-catwalk, electric traction passenger elevators, hydraulic freight elevators, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, fire alarm, grading and paving, drilled concrete piers and shafts, site concrete, and landscape.
