This Project is part of Peralta Community College’s goal to upgrade its facilities to foster a better environment for its students by addressing existing damage and safety concerns at the College of Alameda ADA and Site Improvements Project and COA 860 Atlantic. The buildings will remain closed during construction. The various renovations shall include replacement of existing flooring, ceiling tiles, drinking fountains, door hardware, lighting, exit signage, restroom plumbing fixtures, restroom tiles, restroom stalls, new paint as well as site improvements throughout the campus.

Estimated Construction Cost:
The Engineer's Estimate for COA ADA is $3,070,000
The Engineer's Estimate for 860 Atlantic is $920,800

W.E. LYONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, as a Prime Contractor, is requesting quotes from all qualified sub-contractors and suppliers, including quotes from certified/qualified DVBE firms, for the Project advertised as: COLLEGE OF ALAMEDA ADA AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS AND COLLEGE OF ALAMEDA 860 ATLANTIC (SCIENCE ANNEX), Bid No. 25-26/11, located in Alameda, CA, for the following items of work, including, but not limited to: demolition, concrete, masonry, metal fabrications, decorative formed metal, rough carpentry, gypsum sheathing, finish carpentry, wood casework, thermal insulation, firestopping, joint sealants, doors, frames, aluminum windows, glass, mirrors, painting, gypsum board, ceramic tiling, acoustical panel ceilings, carpeting, wall coverings, insulation, signage, bathroom accessories, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm systems, earthwork.
